Wow, I'm so bad at texturing.  I thought that all the junk up till now was hard, but it seems like it's only going to get worse!  The UV layout was a complete pain, and I might have to go back and redo some of it to give the hammer more UV space.  FML.

But, hey, at least I finally got to put down the colors, and I think they look pretty good.  I need to desaturate some of them pretty heavily, but that's easier done in Photoshop than in Blender.

Next is the rendering-out of the texture.  That'll be no fun, seeing as everything is going every-which way in the UV layout, but I also don't expect it to be as hard, now that I've got that.  And, I have Tristana's textures from in-game to help me out should I need color/value reference.

We're actually down a hundred more polys now.  That's good, because I have to redo the eyes to be more like Tristana's so that rigging them won't be a pain in the rear.
